CBO: Illegal Immigration Plan Would Fail

The number crunchers at the Congressional Budget Office have calculated that the illegal immigration bill currently under consideration in Congress would reduce illegal immigration by only 25% per year.

Details at the Washington Times (linked above).

As Ed Morrissey writes at Captain's Quarters, "Without ending illegal immigration, we can't proceed with normalization. We will eventually build up a new base of people 'living in the shadows,' and it will eventually require another normalization effort."
