Governor Palin to Senator Reid: Drill Now!

I sure like this woman. She seems to have a great deal of common sense and solid ethics...and a lovely family, too. (She also has a newborn son not pictured in the photo at the link.)

I do think it's too early in her career for her to be an ideal pick for a Republican Vice Presidential candidate -- I feel the same way about Bobby Jindal -- and with young children, including an infant with special needs, it would probably be wise for Palin to defer national politics.

Hopefully, however, Palin and Jindal will be national conservative forces in the future.

I like her too. She seems to be down to earth and actually have some morals, which is always a refreshing change in a politician!

I like Palin too. Rumor has it that a charter plane from Alaska has landed 30 miles outside of Dayton. Could Palin be the pick? That would make for a really exciting campaign!

Wow!! What a great choice! I am the proud father of a home schooling family in western New York. We have very conservative views and Governor Palin is PERFECT!! What a great asset she would be as a vice president and potential president!

Laura:

You called it, girl! WOW, I had no idea 3 hours ago of Mrs. Palin's existence and NOW I am filled with hope that a McCain-Palin ticket can not only win the whitehouse but really lead this country forward like never before.

You called it, Laura. I said months ago that Palin would be the perfect V.P. It's so nice that McCain listened to us.

Bobbi, you may not be aware that Governor Palin has already been to Iraq and Kuwait in her capacity as Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard...unlike Senator Obama, she also visited wounded soldiers at our base in Germany over a year ago...not for publicity but because she cared.

As governor of the only state bordering two nations, she has already dealt with Russia and Canada, to my understanding, on various issues.

I'll take someone who's pulled herself up by the proverbial bootstraps on her own (something Senator Clinton can't say) and been acting in an executive position and as a reformer (which again Obama can't say) since the '90s. She's smart, she's got the right political philosophies, and throughout her career she has made good things happen.

Best wishes,
Laura

GO LAURA! lol

She is an intelligent pick! I think her and Senator McCain and their families have a lot in common, especially considering Cindy's philanthropic background and adopted daughter. I value the dignity they have presented in protecting them, the best that they can from the scrutiny of the political process and not exploiting them for gain. It says a lot!
