Dodgers Win the West!

The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched the National League West today, so both the Dodgers and the Angels will be in the playoffs this year.

We're fans of both teams, although if it came down to a Dodgers-Angels World Series, we're rooting for the Dodgers all the way. :)

(And yes, I've ironed these flags since I took this photo, when both teams were in the 2004 Playoffs!)

This is an absolute nightmare for me. I hope the Angels lose in the league championship series if it means they have to face the Dodgers in the WS. I am certain that the Dodgers will win in a Freeway match-up for all the marbles. By all accounts the Angels are vastly superior, but anything can happen in a series and I KNOW the Dodgers would win. There is nothing I can stomach less easily than losing the WS to the Dodgers. So nice that you can be happy for them both.

LOL!! Well, we'll see what happens. The Dodgers haven't been consistent this season, but as you know sometimes surprising things happen once the postseason starts. The potential for a Freeway World Series is always interesting...

(I still fondly remember the Oakland A's being upset that they weren't going to play the "best" team in the National League, the Mets, back in '88...LOL.)

Best wishes,
Laura

Go Dodgers! I've been a fan since before I moved here 21 years ago.

I found your site from a liberal's links. I like it so much I added it to my list of Conservative links.
